MEET OUR TEAM

Jaime Marshall

Executive Director-Founder

My name is Jaime Marshall. I was born in Lancaster, South Carolina, and I am a 33 year old mother of four. This ministry for children with special needs was created out of my personal journey as a mother of three children with disabilities. Disabilities also affect my family across generations, including my brother, uncle, and great uncle. My personal relationship with God has been the foundation that has carried my family through this journey. It has given me the strength, purpose, and motivation to be the best mother, caregiver, advocate, and person I can be. Through my walk with God, my eyes have been opened to how unfair and challenging the world can be for children with disabilities and their families. I believe that answering this calling is how change begins. I have always had a passion for working with children, especially those who face challenges similar to my own children. I want more for our kids. My goal is to share the gospel with children in ways they can truly understand and to help families like mine experience God’s love, grace, and mercy. I want families to know they are not alone in their journey. My vision is to build a strong, loving community where families can support, encourage, and uplift one another. One day, I hope to open a center for children with special needs complete with a secure, gated playground where children can play safely, along with programs and support groups for families. I also hope to help families find a home church like we have found at Bethlehem Baptist Church, and to encourage other churches to create welcoming, inclusive environments for children with special needs. Above all, my mission is to see our children accepted, included, and loved just as God loves them!

I am committed to helping create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where individuals of all abilities can grow spiritually and feel a true sense of belonging. As a board member, my heart is to serve faithfully, listen intentionally, and work alongside others to strengthen this ministry so it can continue to be a place of hope, encouragement, and support for families in our church and community. I am grateful for the opportunity to give back and to be part of what God is doing through this ministry.
